Adrian Allen and Diana Frangou of RSM Restructuring Advisory LLP have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Berkeley Burke SIPP Administration Limited (“BBSAL”) by the directors of the Company. Whilst the directors of the Company appointed Adrian Allen and Diana Frangou, the Financial Conduct Authority was consulted and consented to the appointment of the named Administrators.
Immediately following appointment, the Joint Administrators sold the BBSAL SIPP business to Hartley Pensions Limited (“Hartley”). Berkeley Burke SIPPs will be transferred to a new SIPP that has been established for this purpose by Hartley, unless clients inform Hartley that they wish they wish to transfer their SIPP to another registered pension arrangement of their choice. Hartley will be writing to clients to outline these options.
The Joint Administrators will shortly be writing to clients and creditors to provide them with additional information relating to the Administration and to explain how the process will proceed and what they are required to do to register their claim.
Financial Services Compensation Scheme (‘FSCS’):
As the Company is in Administration, the FSCS has advised that it will now consider accepting potential claims against the Company. Please visit www.fscs.org.uk and select ‘Check if you can claim’.
